LCL Export Customer Advisory 25-004
Issue Date: June 23, 2025For import/export shipments to/from Canada and the United States where a change to the bill of lading is requested, CaroTrans will implement a Correction Fee surcharge effective July 23rd, 2025. The applicable conditions are as follows:
CA/US Exports: Any correction that is requested beyond the manifest having been sent to the underlying carrier.
CA/US Imports: Any correction that is requested 5 days prior to arrival (or less) to the first CA/US based port.
In addition to the above, correction charges levied by the underlying carrier will be passed though as they are received/where appliable. Further details regarding this change can be found below:
